FG Declares April 10 And 13 As Public Holiday For Easter

In celebration of this year’s Easter, the Federal Government has declared Friday April 10 and Monday April 13 as public holiday.

The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola made the announced and urged Christians to show tolerance, love, peace and compassion which are the characteristics of Jesus.
The Minister called on Christians to pray for Nigeria and for solution against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Calling for support for the government in the fight against COVID-19, the minister urged people to keep to the guidelines given by the Federal Government which includes sanitization, social distancing etc.

He concluded by assuring Nigerians that President Buhari will continue with palliative measures to cushion the effect of the disease in Nigeria.
