Red hot Sivasspor forward Olarewaju Kayode says he still has a future with the senior national team of Nigeria after his sterling performances in the Europa League.
The 27 year old has scored in every single game his team have played in the Europa League this season bringing his tally to four goals in the first four games of the tournament.
Shortly after scoring against Qarabag in a 3-2 win yesterday’s game, Kayode who is on loan to Sivasspor from Shakhtar Donetsk told Owngoalnigeria.com that he will force his way back into the plans of coach Gernot Rohr of the senior national team of Nigeria.
He last played for Nigeria In 2017 but he said all he has to do is to continue scoring and that will make it impossible for the coach to drop him. “ I have to keep scoring it’s very easy. The coach knows me and what I can do”, he said.
“ Now my aim is to maintain my form in front of goal in the league and Europa League. I really want to get back into the Super Eagles. I have unfinished business in the team”.
