Gombe United General Manager Abubakar Abubakar Yellow has urged fans to come out enmasse and support the team against Enyimba.
The Savannah Scorpions will take on the reigning Nigeria Premier Football League champions on Sunday (today).
The NPFL matchday two match is billed for the Pantami Stadium.
“Gombe United needs your support to carry day against Enyimba FC on Sunday, I assure you (fans/supporters) of maximum security,” he pleads with the supporters.
“The management will not tolerate unpatriotic behaviour of some fans who are planning inhuman atmosphere during and after the match against the Savannah Scorpions.”
Gombe United suffered defeat in the opening day fixture against Sporting Lagos last week.
