Global tech firm, Google says it has added new features to its generative Artificial Intelligent Bard chatbot and will be able to fact-check its answers and analyze users’ personal Google data.

Google disclosed this in a statement made available to thedabigal on Wednesday, giving users details of the new features available.

Accordingly, the tech giant said Bard AI chatbot is no longer restricted to pulling answers from the web but can now scan users’ Gmail, Documents, and Drive to help find information.

Also, with the new features, Bard users can now summarize the contents of an email or sieve out important information stored in Drive.

Bard’s extensions feature indicated that users can connect with Maps, YouTube and Google flights and hotels.

“The ability to collaborate on creative projects, start in one language and seamlessly continue in up to 40+ other languages and countries.

“Features to assist with in-depth coding inquiries and to explore new topics from various perspectives with heightened quality and accuracy,” it said.

thedabigal recalls that on February 6, 2023, Google introduced Bard to rival ChatGPT, a Microsoft-backed (MSFT.O) OpenAI chatbot.
