The coach of the Nigeria U20 team Ladan Bosso has congratulated 17 year old Nigerian midfielder Victor Ehuwa Eletu on his new deal with Italian giant AC Milan, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
Eletu penned his first professional deal with the Rossoneri after impressing with the youth team under Ignacio Abate. He has played 11 games this season for the B team where he is one of their captains.
Born in Lagos, his rise through the ranks at AC Milan hasn’t gone unnoticed with head coach of the Nigeria U20 team Ladan Bosso keen on having him in his team for the Africa U20 Cup of Nations in Egypt next year.
” This year was when I first got to know about him when he trained with the first team. I also got wind of his rise when he was named as captain of the U19 side. He is a special talent and I congratulate him on his new deal”, Bosso told OwnGoalNigeria.com.
” My plan is to build the base of my team with the players here with me before bringing in the ones based abroad and Eletu is in my list as that is a special case. By January when I have seen areas that need more options and also strength. I will decide on all other call ups for players based abroad”, he remarked during the exclusive chat.
