Danielle Edochie, the eldest child of popular Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has removed his surname from her Instagram handle.
A quick glance at her Instagram page shows that she has changed her handle from ‘danielleyuledochie’ to ‘d3forareason’.
She also changed her name to “Danielle Diana Dubem”, giving the impression that she wants to distance herself from anything associated with her father.
However, the 18-year-old did not explicitly disclose the reason behind her actions.

This has sparked a range of reactions from netizens, with some expressing support for her decision to build her own personal brand separate from her father’s identity, while others rebuked her, stating that Yul is still her father regardless of their family saga.
