Former Chelsea defender Celestine Babayaro says FC Porto Nigerian defender Zaidu Sanusi will no doubt make his mark with the senior national team of Nigeria.

Sanusi has played in three of the four last games of the senior national team of Nigeria and only yesterday he scored his first goal in the UEFA Champions League.

Babayaro who was for years the first choice left back of the senior national team of Nigeria said he has seen some traits in the defender which reminds him of when he use to play.

“ He can cross the ball very well and he is also good in duels. He is a bit like me in the way he marks, I like him and I believe he can even be better than me if he continues to work hard”, Babayaro told Owngoalnigeria.com.

“ The way he loves to attack reminds me of me in my playing days and he can be a mainstay in the team if he continue to work hard and maybe we can now say we have found my replacement. He still has a long way to go though”.
