19 year old United State of America senior international Owen Otasowie made his English Premier League debut for Wolverhampton Wanderers in their 2-1 comeback win over Chelsea.

Otasowie was handed his debut coming on as a substitute at the start of the second half and he laid the assist for the leveler scored by Daniel Podence.

Aside the assist he put in a shift that justified the faith coach Nuno Espírito Santo has in him with a performance well above his age and experience.

On the international scene he could easily have remained an option for Nigeria as he qualifies for the West Africa Nation through his father. He was until the last international break an option for England as well.

During the last international break he was handed his senior international debut by the United State of America in a friendly game against Wales despite the fact that he was a player for the U23 of Wolves playing in the English Premier League 2.

He played for just three minutes but the move effectively ruled him out as an option for Nigeria with the defender declaring after the game that he intends to stick with the USA where he was born.
