Inter Milan are back to their best after Friday’s defeat of Spezia, according to star player, Lautaro Martinez.

Lautaro struck in the 3-1 win.

“I’m really happy because we knew how important these three points were,” the No.10 began.

“We prepared for this type of match during the week and we did exactly what we wanted. We’re pleased because we’re doing an excellent job at the moment. It’s true that we’ve dropped a few too many points along the way but we’re back to our best now.”

Asked about his goal, the Argentine explained: “When I saw [Ivan] Perisic cut inside, I knew he’d put in that sort of ball. I got in front of my marker and tried to get a touch on it to make it difficult for the keeper.”
