Popular media personality and entrepreneur, Toke Makinwa has taken to social media to tackle people who record themselves while crying.

The lifestyle vlogger in a video she shared on her Instagram page stated that she is tired of seeing people come online to shed tears because it looks manipulative.

She went on to ask such people if they are mentally stable or if they don’t have friends they can pour out their emotions to, instead of crying before people that don’t really care about them online.

According to her, people should stop this act and learn to cry in their homes.

Sharing the video, the 37-year-old wrote,

“Pls let’s leave this behavior in the past. Why will you on your camera, go live, press record and start crying ???? ????????????????????
Not trying to be mean but it is a cry for attention. Do you not have real friends? If you are crying why do you record it? ????”
