Nigeria international, Samuel Kalu has reportedly tested positive for the Coronavirus which has made his French club, FC Bordeaux drop him from a pre-season trip.
Kalu who was trapped in Nigeria due to the ban on international travel was the Bordeaux player that tested positive to COVID-19 on July 6 according to an AFP report.
He returned to France early this month and failed to travel with the team today (Monday) to Dinard for the pre-season tour having gone into isolation. He therefore becomes the second Super Eagle player after Genk forward Paul Onuachu did.
He is expected to join his team-mates in training next week if his result comes back negative.
