American comedian and actor, Kevin Hart made his first public appearance since his car crash, as he attended the E! People’s Choice Awards with his wife, Eniko Parrish and daughter, Heaven Hart. The award event took place in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 10, 2019.
On Sunday, September 1, Hart fractured his spine in Calabasas, California, and has since been in rehab following the car crash.
The comedian took to the stage to accept the award for “The Comedy Act” of 2019 from actor Robert Downey Jr. Giving an acceptance speech, he said:

First and foremost thank God because I definitely don’t have to be here. Being that I am, it makes me appreciate life more. It makes me appreciate the things that really matter. I want to thank my wife and my kids. They really stepped up to the plate for me.
I also want to take the time to thank the People’s Choice Awards, just for this. This is amazing. But more importantly, the people, man. You have no idea the effect that you have on us as entertainers. Your energy, your support, it means the world and I truly want to thank you guys for being there for me in my difficult time. This is special. They all are. I do not take them for granted. Thank you so much. God bless everyone in this room. Peace.
