Liverpool hero, Mark Lawrenson, has predicted Leicester City to knock out Manchester United when both teams clash in the FA Cup quarter-final on Sunday evening.
Lawrenson believes Leicester City will have the edge over Man United at the King Power Stadium.
Leicester head to the game after thrashing Sheffield United 5-0 in the Premier League last Sunday, while Manchester United eliminated AC Milan from the Europa League on Thursday.
Both teams played a 2-2 draw in their last meeting in their Premier League meeting last December.
“The last time these two sides played at King Power Stadium, on 26 December, it was a cracking game that ended up 2-2,” Lawrenson told BBC Sport.
“I am expecting it to be quite open this time too, and I just have a feeling the Foxes will edge it.
“But, whether they win or lose this tie, both teams are on course for successful seasons. A top-four finish would make sure of that on its own – going on and winning the FA Cup would be like the cherry on the top. Leicester 2, Man United 1.”
The kick-off time for Leicester vs Man United is 6 pm.
