Big Brother Naija star, Natacha Akide better known as Tacha has slammed those celebrating Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala but turn deaf ears to issues regarding the girl child.
Recall that the Nigeria’s former Finance Minister and ex Vice President of the World Bank, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was recently appointed the Director general of the World Trade Organization, and Nigerians in their numbers have taken to social media to celebrate their own.
Tacha also took to her different social media platforms to celebrate Okonjo-Iweala and described her a beacon of Excellence and an inspiration to all Nigerians, but however, seized the opportunity to berate Nigerians who are celebrating the first woman, African to lead WTO but turn deaf ears to girl-child issues
Taking to her Instagram story, Tacha expressed displeasure with persons who do not support the girl child but yet celebrating the female icon.
According to the serial entrepreneur, People who look the other way when it comes to matters regarding the girl child, but opens their mouth to congratulate Ngozi Okonjo Iweala should seal their hypocritical mouth.
