Liverpool players wildly celebrated Willian’s penalty that sealed their Premier League title win on Thursday night.
Jurgen Klopp’s side were confirmed champions without kicking a ball after Manchester City’s 2-1 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
City needed to win the game to prevent Liverpool becoming champions and the game was locked at 1-1, but a Willian penalty eased Liverpool’s nerves.

Despite the current coronavirus pandemic rocking the world, Reds fans also wanted to celebrate together.
A number of supporters convened outside Anfield to mark their first league title in 30 years.

Some fans can be seen wearing masks while others can be seen ignoring social distancing rules currently in place in the UK.
Fans across the world were also captured celebrating their side’s first league title in three decades.

Liverpool have clinched the title with seven games to spare and are now 23 points ahead of City.
Christian Pulisic opened the scoring in the first half for Chelsea before Kevin De Bruyne pulled one back in the second half with a sensational free-kick.
However, City would be reduced to 10 men late into the second half after Fernandinho scraped the ball off the line with his hand.

Willian stepped up and converted the subsequent penalty as Chelsea sealed all three points.
City boss Pep Guardiola already extended his congratulations to Liverpool boss Klopp ahead of the Chelsea clash.
“I think all the managers didn’t know how the teams would be after these exceptional situations. We got a good result [against Burnley] and that was the important thing.”
