Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state has announced that his administration is set to begin the creation of employment opportunities for youths in the state, hence the arrival of employment materials in the state.
The Governor who made this known via his Twitter account on Tuesday said that containers of machines needed to set up the planned cottage industry for youths have arrived.
According to him, this and many other opportunities will be provided to ensure that the problem of unemployment is tackled in Abia State.
“Earlier in the year, we planned to set up one cottage industry in each of the 17 LGAs in Abia, starting with 7 as pilot LGAs.
“I’m glad to announce that containers of machines needed for the take-off of the industries have arrived.
“That’s jobs, jobs & more jobs for our youths,” he said.
