Mario Balotelli to join Swiss side FC Sion – Sporting Life

Former Italy international striker  Mario Balotelli is set to join Swiss side FC Sion this summer with the transfer almost complete. The 32-year-old will leave Turkish club Adana Demirspor after just one season in the Super Lig.

Fabrizio Romano, Nicolo Schira and a number of other Italian sources report that the former Inter and Milan striker will make the switch before the transfer window closes.

Balotelli is expected to earn €3m a season and will undergo his club medical today with the contract signing expected to take place in the afternoon.

The striker has had a varied career, coming through the ranks for the Nerazzurri before making the switch to Manchester City then back to Italy to play for Milan.
