The photo of a member of the Marriage Monitoring Team in Rivers state is currently going viral on social media.
According to a lady who posted the picture of the team member, the team was set up to monitors wedding ceremonies in the state, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Many users of the platform soon began to question why such a task force exist in the state, so she went on to explain that the team ensures people maintain social distancing at wedding in public places.
She explained;
“No dey laugh us o!!
It’s all in line with the #COVID19 rules and regulations in Rivers State
Maintaining social DISTANCING and exact number required to attend weddings in public places.”
