The agent of out of favour Monaco forward Henry Onyekuru says his client will certainly leave the club in the January transfer window.
Onyekuru has played just four games this season with coach Niko Kovac making it clear that the Nigerian is not in his plans paving the way for him to leave the club when the transfer window opens in January.
Ahead of the opening of the window his representative revealed a move to Turkey is on the cards giving more life to rumors of a third Galatasary spell for the 23 year old.
He however hinted that unlike previous seasons when the deal was short term. This time around it will likely be a longer spell on loan or a permanent deal.
“There are rumors. It comes to my ear. Galatasaray is an important option for Onyekuru. Transfer or loan, we’ll see. But I hope it will be for the long term. I cannot say anything about the state of the discussions with Monaco. “
Since joining Monaco on a permanent deal from Everton, Onyekuru has failed to stamp his feet at the club. A form which saw him spend the second half of last season on loan to same club he will likely join in January.
