Captain of the senior national team of Nigeria Ahmed Musa is back in the Super Eagles squad for the upcoming friendly game against Saudi Arabia and also the World Cup 2026 qualifiers against Lesotho, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

Already talks have been concluded for a friendly game against Saudi Arabia on the 13th of October in Portugal during the next international break, and the game will serve as part of the preparation for the World cup qualifiers in November against Lesotho.

Speaking on the game, a source in the team said Musa and four others who were not part of the team for the last match of the AFCON qualifiers against Sao Tome and Principe, which ended 6-0 in favor of the Super Eagles.

” Musa, Alex Iwobi, Kenneth Omeruo, Bright Osayi-Samuel and Zaidu Sanusi will be in the team for that game. That I can confirm to you because they are still in the plans for the world cup qualifiers which begins in November.
