A Nigerian lady has left social media users stunned and filled with questions after showing off her engagement ring that has an ancient idol cresting.
The lady identified as Adejumo Abiola had taken to Twitter to share the controversial photo of her engagement ring and announced that she said “Yes, I’ll marry you” to her man.
Adejumo’s post has, however, triggered mixed reactions from Netizens as she was mocked for accepting the strange ring as an engagement ring, instead of the conventional diamond ring.

Some tweeps inquired about the identity of her beau because the top of the ring is crested with a figure that resembles the Oba of Benin or Obatala.
A twitter user commented, “Wow.. Is it Oduduwa or Oranmiyan??”
“This one is to spiritual husband o because that ring Ehn,” another Twitter user wrote.
