The four goalkeepers in the camp of the senior national team of Nigeria were all part of a drill conducted by the two goalkeepers coach of the team.

Alloy Agu and Pionetti Enrico drilled the four goalkeepers in camp namely Tobias Lawal , Maduka Okoye, Dele Alampasu and Matthew Yakubu.

All four goalkeepers made a good impression during the training but the duo of Yakubu and Lawal stood out with two special qualities.

Yakubu was so good with his distribution during the test game that many including coach Gernot Rohr had to ask him why he decided to be a goalkeeper instead of an outfield player.

On his part Lawal was so smooth in his handling of shots and after a finger tip save the other goalkeepers had to applaud his tremendous reach.

For now while Okoye is still the favorite to start in goal, the performance of the above mentioned duo have no doubt given coach of the team Gernot Rohr a tough decision to make when it comes to picking his first choice.
