Super Falcons have been told to go all out for victory as they face Lady Elephants today at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja. The Falcons who have been having intensive training ahead of the two legged Africa Women Cup of Nations tie will finally showcase the effect of their preparations today with kickoff set at 4pm.

Already the Glass house has wished the girls well while urging them to soar.

“Good luck to our @nigeriasuperfalcons today as they face #cotedivoire in the first leg of the final Africa Women Cup of Nations qualifiers at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja. Go soar Falcons!

There are no fears among super Falcons supporters as many believe in the ability of the team to rise to the challenge. Falcons remain the most successful team in the women championship in Africa to the extent that their qualifications and exploits are taken for granted.

A number of women football fans who spoke with Sportinglife.ng ahead of today’s encounter insist there is no cause for alarm. “The Super Falcons are always the team to beat in Africa so when they file out against African countries they seldom lose, it is the need to do better at the world stage that we are actually looking forward to” they submitted Thursday.
