The coach of the Nigeria U20 team Ladan Bosso hasn’t given up on Crystal Palace forward Ademola Ola-Adebomi despite not listing the striker in his squad for the Africa U20 Cup of Nations, OGN reports.

Ola-Adebomi was in the camp of the Nigerian team in Abuja and trained with the team but had to return back to England on the instructions of his team as he was given a three days break. The idea was for the coaches to assessed him using the game against Zambia.

However the planned friendly game has been postponed thrice with the new date now fixed for Saturday, the 4th of February at the main bowl of the Moshood Abiola stadium in Abuja. The postponement of the game affected his chances according to Bosso.

” I like the boy a lot. He has the right physique to be a top player. Very humble and his talent is not in doubt. The perfect chance to see him properly would have been the game against Zambia but it was postponed. I’ll work with him if we make it to the World Cup”, the coach told OwnGoalNigeria.com.

” He is not the only foreign based player I have on my list. Three of them I will properly look at when we make it to the World Cup. For now we have players who have been with us for over six to nine months, working with them for the purpose of the AFCON is only normal”, he rounded up saying.
