Nigeria Under 20 Star Defender Included In Brentford’s First team To Face Wolves In FA Cup

Nigeria under 20 World Cup star Benjamin Fredrick has been included in the Brentford squad for a crunch FA cup tie against Wolves at the Gtech Community Stadium by coach Thomas Frank.

The teenage sensation who was a revelation at the 2023 under 20 World Cup  tournament held in Argentina was signed on loan by the English side to their highly rated B side and has continued to take huge strides forward with the coaches impressed with his talent, dedication and hardwork.

Benjamin Fredrick is one of the youngsters who has come out from the prestigious Simoiben Football academy in Kaduna northwest Nigeria in the recent years. The academy has produced other young prospects like Emmanuel Michael who starred in Under 17 tournaments for Nigeria and a host of others.

The youngster has made several appearances for Brentford’s B team and would be hoping to make an appearance for the first team and make a positive impression on the coaches as he continues his development into the first team of the English side.
