Newly invited Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka was once again the best player on the pitch for FC Midtjylland as they labor to a 0-0 draw against Sparta Praha in the UEFA Champions League Qualifiers.

In the first leg tie played in Czech Republic, Onyeka showed his class marshaling and dictating from the middle to hand his team a well deserved draw ahead of the return leg game next week.

The Nigeria U23 invitee sat as the deepest of his team midfield three and was very busy breaking up play and also initiating attack from his deep role.

In the Nigeria national team there are doubts surrounding the availability of Wilfred Ndidi for the Super Eagles game owing to a reported injury picked up at his clubside Leicester City.

If Ndidi fail to make it for the game , it is possible that coach Gernot Rohr will call one of the midfielders on standby but on the strength of his display tonight, Onyeka should without any doubt take his place.

Just like Ndidi he covers lot of grounds and also dominate aerial duels with ease with his height and physical presence giving him an edge over his opponents.
