The future of Nigeria international forward Victor Osimhen has been a hot topic for discussion with the striker heading into the final two years of his deal at Napoli, where is presently leading their charge for the league title.
Osimhen who is presently the top scorer in the Italian top division with 15 goals for runaway leaders Napoli has been linked with several top teams around Europe lately owing to his contract duration and also red hot form in front of goal.
Several reports have it that PSG, Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Liverpool are watching his situation with keen interest but according to the president of Napoli Aurelio De Laurentiis, the striker is not for sale at any amount.
He admitted that several teams are lining up for players in his team including Osimhen but he is not in any way under any pressure to sell particularly as the team is not experiencing any financial difficulty at the moment. This he made known in an interview monitored by the editorial team of OGN.
“He’s not for sale! Our players are in demand, but I don’t have to sell anyone. We don’t have any debts”, he told German publication Bild when quizzed on if the club will turn down a bid in the region of £200m.
