Roma announced the news on their official website.
“Almost 18 years after a fresh-faced local teenager named Daniele De Rossi made his Roma debut against Anderlecht, the 35-year-old club captain will pull on the Giallorossi shirt for the final time against Parma.”
De Rossi has made 615 appearances and scored 63 goals to date for the Giallorossi in all competitions, putting him second on the club’s list of all-time leading appearance-makers.
With Roma, he won the Coppa Italia twice, in 2007 and 2008, along with one Supercoppa in 2007.
De Rossi was also one of the World-Cup-lifting Italy in 2006.
