The lineup of the senior national team of Nigeria for tomorrow’s friendly game against the senior national team of Portugal will see the trio of Joe Aribo, Moses Simon and Terem Moffi lead the line for Nigeria.
In Peseiro’s preferred 4-4-2 formation, the coach has decided to play with Francis Uzoho in goal despite the fact that Maduka Okoye has been fantastic in training ahead of the game. The decision to stick with Uzoho has been made even before the players resumed.
In defence, Kevin Akpoguma will partner captain of the team William Troost Ekong with Bright Osayi-Samuel picked as the replacement for injured regular right back Ola Aina. The left full back will be manned by Calvin Bassey, who passed a late fitness test.
Alex Iwobi will rekindle his partnership with Wilfred Ndidi in the heart of the midfield while Joe Aribo will play just behind the main striker. A role he has excelled in at his English Premier League side Southampton.
Aribo will play behind main striker Terem Moffi who will be flanked by the duo of Moses Simon and Ademola Lookman on the left and right flanks of the team respectively. Below is how they will line up.
