Ogun state govt accused of demanding N25k to carry out COVID-19 test on students (Video)

The Ogun state government has been accused of demanding for N25,000 to carry out COVID-19 test on each student of private boarding schools.

In a viral video which was sighted by LailasNews, parents can be seen protesting the fee.

The video captured moment parents who got to an isolation centre in Abeokuta, protested after allegedly being asked to pay N25,000 to get their children tested for COVID-19.

Sharing the video on Facebook, Obawunmi Bolaji Abd-samod wrote;

This is what is happening at oke mosan Abeokuta concerning malaria and covid test that Ogun state government is subjecting our sss 3 students to they are requesting we should pay #25000 per student only private school that are staying in hostel.
