Victor Osimhen scored his first goal for Serie A side Napoli as they ease to a 4-1 win over Atalanta in the Serie A.

The Nigerian who was lively all through was a headache for the back line of Atalanta for the period of time he was on the pitch.

Reacting to his first goal for the team, Gattuso said ”Victor Osimhen is a player who is giving us many game solutions. The way he moves scares team against us.  I’m happy for the goal”.

Coach Gennaro Gattuso subbed off the forward with eight minutes left to play in the game in what looks like a move to save him for their next game as he was getting kicked by the defenders of Atalanta as they bid to stop him.

Hirving Lozano’s brace set Napoli on the way to victory with Matteo Politano adding his name to the scoresheet on the 30th minute mark.

Osimhen ensured Napoli ended the half four goals up when he scored on a turn two minutes before the half time break. He celebrated with a shirt that has End Police Brutality In Nigeria lending a voice to the #EndSars movement.

Sam Lammers’s goal for Atalanta in the 70th minute ended as a consolation as Napoli hanged on to claim a morale boosting 4-1 win at the San Paolo.
