Fresh from failing with two bids for France golden boy Kylian Mbappe, Saudi Arabia outfit Al Hilal have now turned their attention to Nigeria international forward Victor Osimhen, OwnGoalNigeria.comunderstands.
Osimhen is locked in contract extension talks with Napoli with two years left to run on his deal but Napoli through president Aurelio De Laurentiis has made it clear that they will be open to the forward leaving if they receive an offer in the region of €200m.
According to L’Équipe today, the Serie A champions have turned down two bids from Al-Hilal for the Nigerian international – the first worth €120m, and the second rising to €140m.
The 24-year-old, who scored 31 goals in all competitions last season is said to be seriously considering the move especially with the huge financial package that comes with it. Although his camp are only talking with Napoli for now over an extension.
After making the two offers in the past few hours, though, Al-Hilal – who earlier this month were unsuccessful in their attempts to bring in Kylian Mbppé – are expected to send in a third bid imminently.
