Peter Nwachukwu, the husband of late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, has said that he never hit her and that she died of lung cancer.
Punch Metro reported that was remanded to the Kuje Prison in Abuja on Friday after appearing before a High Court in the state capital.
However, speaking while being filmed by a reporter, Peter said, “Let me tell the whole world, I have suffered a lot. I have been abandoned. What killed my wife was cancer of the lungs, I didn’t hit my wife.
“Cancer of the lungs killed my wife, Osinachi Nwachukwu, so I’m suffering for what I do not know. “
