The Traditional Religion Worshippers’ Association of Nigeria, Oyo State Chapter, on Tuesday, September 8, staged a peaceful protest to express their grievance over discrimination against traditional worshippers.
In one of the placards, traditional Religion worshippers says they are citizens of the state and should be treated fair and equal with other beliefs. One of the placards reads,
“Orisa devotees are also citizens of Oyo State”
Also speaking, the President General, Traditional Religion Worshippers’ Association of Nigeria, Oyo State Chapter, chief Olukunmi Egbelade, charged governor Seyi Makinde to give necessary regards to the traditional religion worshippers and also rehabilitate tourist Centers across the state.
