Head coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Jose Peseiro has made two changes to the sqaud of the team ahead of their upcoming friendly games against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique respectively.

OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal that the coach who has already sent out provisional invitation to 35 players, but will reduce the number to 24 before the game has been forced into making two changes.

Peseiro won’t be able to call on FC Porto defender Zaidu Sanusi even though both games will be player in Portugal, with the 26 year old currently not expected back from injury until a week to the game against Saudi Arabia.

A situation which effectively rules him out of the game and his spot will likely go to one of the players not expected to make the final sqaud for the games. It is the same situation with Calvin Bassey of English Premier League side Fulham.

Bassey went off injured yesterday with a back issue during the course of their 3-1 win over Norwich City in the Carabao Cup. He is expected to be out for the next two weeks meaning he is also out of the games for the senior national team of Nigeria.
