Portuguese giants FC Porto have unveiled their first signing of the summer transfer window in Spanish striker Fran Navarro, who joined the team from fellow Portuguese side Gil Vincente, OwnGoalNigeria.comreports.

Porto will likely follow his signing with their second signing of the summer transfer window after agreeing a deal with Boavista for Nigeria international defender Bruno Onyemaechi. He is expected to join the team before the start of pre season training.

Boavista and Porto have already settled all the necessary details about his transfer with a fee slightly less than €5m agreed as his transfer fee with Porto not paying the fee due to the fact that Boavista is still owing them for the transfer of Chidozie Awaziem.

The sum which is in excess of €3m was used to settle the deal after Boavista completed the permanent signing of the left full back for €500,000 from CD Feirense following his impressive loan spell at the club.  He was twice invited to the senior national team of Nigeria but he didn’t get to play.
