Popular Nigerian rapper and music executive, Olamide, has warmed hearts online after reaching out to a young Nigerian artist who created a beautiful portrait of his family.
The artist, identified as Shoreyarts on Twitter, recently shared a painting of the YBNL boss, his wife, and kids on the microblogging platform.
In his post, the artist requested netizens to help retweet the artwork until it reached Olamide.

Interestingly, Olamide came across the artwork and was impressed by the artist’s skill and creativity. He contacted the artist via direct message and requested his phone number.
Overwhelmed with gratitude and excitement, the artist took to social media to share screenshots of his conversation with Olamide.
He noted that the surprise DM from the superstar came at a point when he was about to give up.
Expressing his immense gratitude, he wrote, “Just when I’m about to give up, Baddo texts me… @Olamide I’ll be forever grateful, sir… my life has changed. Oh God, I’m truly shocked!”
