The international future of Reading playmaker Michael Olise has taken a different turn as he is undecided over which African nation he will represent at senior level.
Olise was called up by the coach of the Nigerian team Gernot Rohr for the Super Eagles recently concluded AFCON qualifiers but travel restrictions prevented him from honoring the call up.
Since then another twist has been added to the entire episode which Algeria, the ancestral country of his mother making a late move to convince him to snub overtures from Nigeria.
Both nations are presently locked in talks with the 19 year old over a possible switch of nationality from France where he played for their U19 in 2019.
