Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has refused to discuss Kylian Mbappe at media day.
Benzema made a social media post on the weekend which appeared critical of Mbappe after he committed to a new deal with PSG over moving to Madrid.
Mbappe responded yesterday: “We did not speak. I know everyone was talking about Karim and Kylian, Kylian and Karim… But with France, we only talked about the evening meal. I didn’t want to force this stuff.

“When we meet, we’ll discuss it. I would explain this choice to him.
“I saw that almost all the Real Madrid players stayed out of it. You don’t have to have done Saint-Cyr to understand that it comes from above, right?”
Benzema was asked about Mbappe’s comments and said today: “I’ll tell you: we’re going to play a Champions League final on Saturday. Now is not the time to talk about these little things. I prefer not to speak. I’m not angry, I’m focused on the final, it’s more important than hearing other things.”
