Nigeria international forward Victor Osimhen once again showed why he is so highly rated with a brace for Napoli in their 4-0 win over Sampdoria in the Serie A.
The forward who opened his goal account in the league with a goal against Udinese on Monday was on hand again to hand his team an early lead in the 10th minute.
Fabian Ruiz ensured they go into the break leading 2-0 with another goal in the 39th minute. Five minute after the restart Osimhen grabbed his second brace in a space of one week with another goal in the 50th minute.
With scores at 4-0 courtesy of another goal from Piotr ZieliĆski, the Nigerian could have made it a hattrick but he failed to make the best of a one on one chance to grab the match ball.
The result returns Napoli to the summit of the Serie A with five wins from their first five games of the season earning them a total of 15, two points more than second placed AC Milan.
