Reps probe panel postpones hearing to Next Week.

The House of Representatives in Nigeria, has adjoined its investigative hearing on Nigeria’s external loans with China and other countries.

The House Committee on Treaties, Protocols, and Agreements invited several ministers and top officials of the Federal Government to the third hearing today, Tuesday 18, 2020.

The Minister of Works and Housing; Babatude Fashola, Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Ali Pantami; Minister of Police Affairs, Muhammad Maigari; and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello were invited to the hearing.

Mr Nicholas Ossai, who is Chairman of the committee called for the adjournment one hour after the opening prayers.

Nicholas stated that the lawmakers needed to examine the documents already presented while the panel would also demand explanations from the Federal Ministry of Justice on the loans and agreements.
