Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal that coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has settled for the three goalkeepers who will be in the camp of the Super Eagles for next month AFCON qualifiers.

Nigeria will take on Benin Republic in Cotonou before taking on Lesotho in Lagos in search of a point that will seal their passage to the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

Rohr has already drawn up his list and barring a late minute change of mind the three goalkeepers will be Maduka Okoye, Francis Uzoho and Daniel Akpeyi. Sebastian Osigwe was dropped from the last squad.

The FC Lugano goalkeeper has dropped to third choice at his clubside with no game to his name for the past two months and he hasn’t made the match day squad for one month now.

We also gathered that Ikechukwu Ezenwa who has had a poor start to the season in the Nigeria Professional Football League for Heartland is also not in the squad.
