Rohr Knows What I Can Do – Rabiu Ibrahim Boast After League Title Win In Slovakia

Former golden boy of Nigerian football Rabiu Ibrahim says he is not bothered about his non invitation to the senior national team of Nigeria because the coach knows what he is capable of doing if called up.

The skillful midfielder who is in the mould of former Super Eagles captain Austin Okocha said he is still at a stage where he could still be very useful to the Super Eagles if given a chance .

Speaking on the backdrop of his first league title as a professional, the 29 year old said he is playing one of the best football of his career at the moment but playing for the Super Eagles is not something he has on his mind.

” I have not retired from international football. The coach knows what I can do so it’s up to him to call me up. At this stage of my career I believe I can still be of help to the Super Eagles in the playmaker role”, he told Owngoalnigeria.com.

” Last season was very pivotal to me as we won the league but I’m not losing sleep on a call up to the Super Eagles. I have been there before maybe it’s now the turn of others to show what they can do”.
