Coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr says the door of the Super Eagles is open to Victor Moses if he decide to rescind his decision to quit international football.

Presently out on loan to Russian side Spartak Moscow from Chelsea, he has taken the league by storm with three goals and four assists which include two in the derby game against CSKA Moscow over the weekend. A game where he was voted  man of the match.

30 years old Moses quit the senior national team of Nigeria after the 2018 World Cup in Russia after making 38 appearances and scoring 12 goals.

In his absence players like Samuel Chukwueze and Samuel Kalu have all emerged to add to the duo of Moses Simon and Henry Onyekuru who were available during his stint with the team.

Despite the plethora of options available to the coach, Rohr said he has been delighted with the performance of Moses and he has always maintained that the winger is free to return to the team if he want to.

“ Happy to see him doing well in Russia and we have always say the door is open to him since his decision to quit the team. If he wants to return, it’s up to him to decide, We will then judge him like every other player in his position. His return will be good for our young team”, Rohr told Owngoalnigeria.com.
