Nigeria international winger Samuel Kalu collapsed four minutes into their 2-2 draw against ten man Marseille in the French Ligue 1 at the Stade Velodrome.

Kalu slumped unchallenged as Marseille were getting set to take a free kick. He was a part of the wall but went down even before the kick was taken and he was promptly attended to and he walked off the pitch.

He returned to the pitch and carried on for eight more minutes before he was subbed off as he appeared to be struggling to get going. Reports indicate that he complained of dizziness.

It’s the second time in two years that he has experienced same with the first coming during the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations when he slumped in training, two days before the Super Eagles opening game of the tournament.
