Cyriel Dessers is determined to keep on pushing his Rangers career after netting in the Gers 4-0 victory against Hibernian.

Dessers, who put up a good showing in the game, scored Rangers fourth goal of the game dispatching Todd Cantwell’s pass into the net.

It was the Nigeria international’s second league goal of the campaign.

“We showed some bits of this today, but there’s still a lot of growth left for us. I’m sure we’ll do that, and we’ll then be a team that is difficult to stop,” Dessers told Rangers TV.

“It’s a part of the game that I like to do. I’m still growing to my best level, but this was a step towards it. I hope with the new energy inside the dressing room, with the new staff and the fans, that we can push on.”

The 28-year-old joined the Light Blues from Italian club, Cremonese, this summer.
