Sevilla’s players were fuming with Erling Haaland after he taunted their goalkeeper having scored a retaken penalty.
The Borussia Dortmund striker, who’d already put this side 1-0 up in the first half of the Champions League last 16 second leg, thought he’d scored a second with a blockbuster finish. But the referee had already blown his whistle for a Borussia penalty.
Haaland saw his penalty saved by goalkeeper Bono, but the Sevilla stopper was off his line, so the ref ordered a retake. This time Haaland blasted the ball just past the keeper’s reach – then ran and celebrated right in Bono’s face.
