Shooting Stars forward Joshua Akpan is set to be fit for the club’s matchday 16 clash against Rangers, thedabigal reports.
Akpan picked up a knock in Shooting Stars’ last match against Abia Warriors.
The combative forward was replaced in the first half of the encounter.
According to reports emanating from the club, the player is winning the race against time to be fit for the crunch tie against Rangers.
Akpan returned to training on Monday, ahead of the team’s trip to Enugu.
Shooting Stars will battle Rangers at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium on Thursday.
