Shooting Stars of Ibadan midfielder Fatai Gbadamosi is drawing attention from Scottish Premier League leaders Rangers according to 90min.com.
22 year old Gbadamosi who is a central midfielder is said to be among the players that manager Steven Gerrard will run the rule on when he boost his squad later in the year. He was a part of the Nigeria U23 team during the qualifiers for the U23 AFCON but didn’t make the team to the tournament proper.
90min.com mentioned him as a target for the SPL side in their report on rumors linking Taiwo Awoniyi with a move as well to the SPL leaders at the end of his loan spell with Union Berlin.
While reporting on the likelihood of Awoniyi leaving Liverpool permanently to either Celtic or Rangers, the last paragraph of the report read thus “ In addition to Awoniyi, 90min can reveal that Celtic and Rangers are also keeping an eye on fellow Nigerian Fatai Gbadamosi, who is currently playing for Shooting Stars in his homeland.”
It wasn’t stated if he will be assessed during the ongoing January transfer or in the summer. Owngoalnigeria.com will keep track of the story as it continues to develop.
