Award-winning South African rapper, Rikhado Muziwendlovu Makhado popularly known as Riky Rick, has passed away at age 34.
According to Sunday World, he was reportedly found dead at his home in the north of Johannesburg on Wednesday morning, February 23.
Reports have it that he committed suicide as he allegedly hung himself with a rope after battling with severe depression.
Sources say he was found by his management team around 8:30am this morning and they immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital as he was still alive. Unfortunately, he died on the way to the hospital.
His death comes hours after sharing a disturbing tweet on his verified Twitter account. He had wrote, “I’ll return a stronger man. This land is still my home.”
His colleagues and fans have taken to social media to mourn his tragic demise.
